Coming Up And About Nicely!
Things are turning into things! Everything is going much better than expected on all fronts! TNT is starting to take shape, and really gaining steam! We still haven’t got everything running in full swing, but it’s coming together faster than expected, and we’ll most likely be fully operational before the fall.
I’m also making more forward progress with the revisited series! Having the power to really flesh out the songs and add the tracks I had to mute has sent me into knob tweaking heaven! The important thing to note, and to clarify, none of the albums in the revisited series are being re-recorded. I’m going back into the mixes and unfreezing tracks I had to in order to get the mixes I shipped already. I’m going to make a video to better explain this.
Speaking of Video. I’m also gearing up to start doing video updates, as well as adding a ton of video related content to our youtube page! I know it’s been a ghost town there, as with most of my channels on the socials, but I’m working on it! ;) I am on the spectrum so social cues, interaction, and interpretations are difficult to me, which can make managing poly stuff even more difficult. Again I am working on it. All of it! I promise more video super soon! In the meantime, I made some updates to the visual section! Inside you’ll find every album and single cover ever used. Fun filled fact most of the pictures that were used for each album cover were shot with an iPhone 5, and some with a 6 plus! Great phone and even better camera! Also updated the band photos section, with more pictures! I’m also in the process of setting up some photo shoots, as well as live musicians for hire. I have specific areas in mind, so if you know someone sends me an email!
For now, I will go, but I must say that I really wish streaming music companies paid at least a nickel per stream. Hell even a penny! Tidal paid out a penny to me, for I have no idea what, and Apple music pays and has paid more and quicker than most! They also created connect which gives you at least some control of your presentation in the music store. But as far as I’m aware, they still do not provide a small fry like me, any sort of analytics. Currently, I am waiting to see if I get approved to manage my Spotify catalog, what excites me most is getting to see the data, on who’s listening to what and where! It really doesn’t seem like a lot to ask for a penny a stream from one of these services. If you want the artist community to pick a platform all one of these services would have to do is start paying a nickel a stream! It would make every artist promote your platform, and make the other services seem criminal. It’s time for one of these large companies to stand up for the little guy. I do have my qualms with the music industry, but for what it's worth I like things the way that they are. OK off to learn a bunch of stuff about marketing and branding. I tried to avoid being bothered with this in the past, but see it's key. People want an experience and want to feel something. I can grok that. The music alone is not enough! This is not a new observation but it is the first time I find genuinely applicable to me.
